NGC 7331 - the Dear Lick Galaxy group

The larger galaxy and the several smaller ones are all gravitationally bound together. The photons captured in this image left the Dear Lick some 46 million years ago.  The many stars in the image are relatively close and within our own Milky Way galaxy.

A full moon was up this night so I consider myself lucky to capture this much contrast.
